What JLTA Means To Me:
I started JLTA five years ago, and every single year, around the month of June, I would be overcome with excitement for what I knew was just around the corner. Throughout the 5 separate camps, I have learned the skills and tools that I will need in order to be a success in whatever I put my mind to. I have learned more about myself and who I am. More importantly, however, I have learned more about God, and what my place is in his kingdom. JLTA has always been a challenge, but it was a challenge that I always loved to succeed at. It was a once a year, 5 day getaway where I could hang out with my buddies, become a better leader, and learn to be the man that God wants me to be. I will treasure my experience that I have had with JLTA for the rest of my life. It will forever be to me a fond memory, full of great friends, wise leaders, and intense work, which all added up to make me into who I am today, and who I will be in the future.
